Recently, I had the pleasure of working with Pretorian Technologies to create promotional flyers for their innovative product, iClick. This feature-rich appliance controller empowers users to control their appliances via wired and wireless switches, iPads, and the Go Talk Now™ app plus the iClick app, making it accessible and versatile for various needs.
As part of this project, I created customised versions of the iClick flyer for four different regions: Australia, the UK, the EU, and the US. Each flyer was tailored to show the power outlet standards of each market, while maintaining a cohesive visual identity across all designs. This involved tweaking the product visuals to reflect the relevant power sockets for each region and ensuring the messaging resonated with a global audience.
The key elements of this flyer design were:
- Eye-catching and functional visuals: The flyers are visually engaging while showcasing iClick’s plug-and-play functionality.
- Customisability: We highlighted the universal appeal of iClick by featuring versions for each region, allowing the flyers to cater to local markets effectively.
- Technical features overview: The design showcases the product’s standout features, including wired and wireless switch control, app control, and unique modes like co-operative direct and latched modes. The content was provided by Pretorian.
Through this project, I was able to apply my design skills to an international product while working with Pretorian Technologies to ensure each market received a flyer that communicated the product’s strengths and advantages in a way that was relevant to them. Whether for a classroom, an assistive technology setup, or environmental control, iClick offers versatility, and I wanted that message to be clear and consistent across the board.
